While traveling through different countries surrounding the Mediterranean I came across many stray cats and dogs. I couldn’t help but to photograph them as they were so friendly and rather photogenic. The idea occurred to me while in Ephesus, Turkey to compile all my images of the strays and make a dedicated photo collection and use it to promote helping them. While I was there I learned that some regions in the Mediterranean are beginning to “exterminate” strays in mass despite protests. I hope to use this photo collection to bring greater awareness to the issue.
